Stenciled Concrete is the process of laying a cardboard stencil pattern into freshly poured wet concrete and troweled the stencil into the surface.
Then colour hardener is applied (see coloured concrete) either by way of broadcasting and trowelling into the surface or by way of hopper gun depending on the finish desired. The stencil is then removed to reveal the pattern of the stencil in the concrete. The concrete is then sealed (see sealing) to protect and enhance the appearance of the finished work.Stenciled
Concrete is quite often confused with Spray-Down Re-Surfacing (see Re-surfacing - Covacrete). The process is similar but Spray-Down is done with different products and over already cured concrete.
